Hip Hop
The type of dance should include street styles, including but not limited to jazz funk, street jazz, KPOP, floor dance, lock dance, mechanical dance, hand dance, house and Vogue
BALLET
Dance act must contain ballet technique incorporating formal classical movements.
Open
This dance genre is constantly evolving. Ballet can be performed to hip-hop music, while other choreographers combine tap dancing techniques with modern dance. Dances that incorporate multiple styles should go into open partitions. If the dance program contains more than 3 gymnastic movements, it should be entered into the open group (or if appropriate, into the acrobatic group)
Chinese Dancing
Chinese dance performance is largely bound by its traditional cultural roots and is a highly diverse art form consisting of many modern and traditional dance styles. Chinese dance covers a wide range and is not only used in folk dances and opera and ballet performances, but also in public celebrations, ceremonies and other occasions.
ACROBATICS
Dance act should incorporate both fluid and graceful movements of danceand the difficult technique of gymnastics. Dancers should execute each move with strength,flexibility,and technique
Jazz
Dance act must consist of iazz technique: splits and floor rolls are permissible
